Once everything has been tested, you’ll receive an email with your results! Here’s what it looks like: Drop it straight off at the post office and you’ll get results via email within 2-3 days! They even give you frequent tracking emails to let you know that your sample has shipped, been received and is processing. Once you collect the blood sample, you put it in the prepaid box that SneakPeek provides. It describes all of this in the directions, but preventing the male DNA from coming in contact with your sample is the most important part of the test. It is best if your male partner is gone completely from the house while you take the test. Lots of handwashing, cleaning, scrubbing, etc. There are lots of measures you will need to take to prevent contaminating the kit with male DNA. If you have a female friend who can help, I would recommend it! It was a challenge to keep everything clean and sanitized on my own. All in all, it took about 30-40 minutes to complete the test. The only downside was having to really squeeze your finger and wait for the drops to fill the vile to the line with blood. Sounds scary but it really wasn’t bad and just feels like getting a normal blood test done. You perform the test at home using a lancet to prick your finger and collect a blood sample.
