She engaged in various projects in addition to drafting and review of outbound software licensing agreements, drafting and negotiation of intellectual property policies, and review and drafting of governance documents. Davis served as Counsel for IBM’s Software Group where she partnered with various groups including Strategy and Technology Product Development Marketing/Social Media Software Standards Organizations and Mergers and Acquisitions.

In addition, she advises on employment and real estate matters as well as company policies and procedures. Her responsibilities include review and negotiation of all contracts for Council Advisors, including client engagement agreements, independent contractor agreements, and confidentiality agreements. In this role, she oversees all legal matters for Council Advisors. Mitzi Davis joined Council Advisors in 2012 and currently serves as General Counsel. While at Yale, she served as a Research Fellow at the Yale Law School’s Solomon Center for Health Law and Policy. Olivia holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Biotechnology from McGill University, and a Master of Public Health concentrating in Health Policy and Regulatory Affairs from the Yale School of Public Health. She also spent time in research and development at a biotech startup supporting CAR-T cell development, and in academic research managing a lab focused on pain and neurological conditions.

In this capacity, Olivia worked with a variety of national and international stakeholders to ensure the post-market safety and effectiveness of pharmaceutical products. Prior to joining High Lantern Group, Olivia spent several years with the Canadian Federal Government’s health portfolio, where she delivered funding programs to support Canada’s health research ecosystem and managed a program on drug safety and effectiveness. Olivia is a Senior Associate in the New York office, where she works with healthcare clients to support their research and strategy needs.
